Designed for grinding meat that is fresh or frozen down to –4°F (–20°C), NOMA, formerly Nowicki Food Machinery W-130, W-160, and W-200 angle grinders can output meat ground to specific levels of granulation. The automatic angle grinders feature high-quality stainless-steel construction and high efficiency.

Additional capabilities abound, depending on the exact equipment variation. Grinders can be supplied with different worm types to suit specific product ranges and end user applications in:

  • Meat processing
  • Fish and seafood processing
  • Confectionery
  • Pet foods
  • Convenience foods
  • Fruit and vegetable processing

The grinders can even be adapted to grind blocks of frozen fish. Adjustment of the pressing worm speed is automatic. An automatic push-out feature is optional on the W-160 and W-200. Both the feed and pressing worm are CNC machined from solid pieces of steel (sans welding) for a construction that’s rugged, smooth, and easy to clean.

Various features make the meat grinder an exceptionally safe machine for plant operators. For example, the automatic angle grinders include inaccessible open-top grind hoppers that accept only input of whole meat via an inclined feed conveyor or trolley lift.
