MA-G and MAH-G series Nowicki food tumblers are technologically advanced pieces of multistage equipment. The tumblers are suitable for marinating red meat from frozen blocks, poultry from frozen blocks, fish, and other seafood.

These vacuum food tumblers can perform other processes, including brewing, cooking, curing, traditional massaging, and cooling. Tumbler cooking is most suitable for the preparation of grains, sauces, vegetables, and ready-to-eat meals. Tumbler boiling is most suitable for the preparation of edible animal skins and tongues. High-heat tumbler marinating is most suitable for the preparation of tough cuts of meat.

One piece of equipment executes multiple tasks to:

  • Reduce the number of times meat and other food needs to be transported from one machine to another
  • Reduce the manual labor required to produce a given meat or other food product

Employing one piece of equipment for multiple tasks also minimizes the reduction in food weight associated with contact with transport and processing machine surfaces.

MA-G AND MAH-G SERIES HEATING SYSTEMS

MA-G and MAH-G series Nowicki food tumblers include a heating system complemented by an insulated jacket wrapping the tumbling the drum. The system employs a circuit filled with glycol to efficiently distribute heat. In addition, an external box with fittings allows facilities to connect the food tumblers to existing steam installations. There’s also the option to connect the food tumblers to an autonomous steam generator.

MA-G AND MAH-G SERIES COOLING SYSTEMS

MA-G and MAH-G-series tumblers include an insulated cooling jacket around the drum perimeter, a glycol circuit powered by an internal circulating pump, a second drum insulation jacket to minimize thermal losses, and either an external cooling unit or the ability to integrate the tumbler cooling system into existing plant cooling systems.

No matter the end product, liquid and solid food elements travel the inside surface of the tumbling drum along spiral blades, which are specially engineered to maximize rubbing while minimizing trauma to solid food pieces. Full marination is achieved many times faster than with static soaking.

MA-G and MAH-G series Nowicki food tumblers sport the same rugged stainless-steel construction of the machine builder’s other offerings. The tumblers are commanded by advanced microprocessor-based controls, offering a touchscreen as well as remote internet-based access. The space-saving MA-G and MAH-G series Nowicki tumblers also accept loading via belt conveyor or mechanical trolley lift.
