MWF-Series Buggy Washers and MPD-1 Box Pallet Washer

Nowicki-brand solutions exist for even the largest food-processing container types. Nowicki MWF series buggy washers include MWF-1, MWF-1-300, and MWF-2 machines. Also available is the Nowicki MPD-1 box pallet washer.

All these machines feature a washing and rinsing chamber as well as loading and unloading mechanisms. Water circulates in a closed filtered cycle. Plant operators have the option to adjust the amount of rinsing water to conserve water. The washing pump is constructed of stainless steel, and the washing arm rotates. Water can be heated through electric, steam, electric-steam, gas, or oil means. Other features include:

• Automatic chemical dosing
• An electronic detergent dosing system that precisely controls the addition of washing agents
• A closed water system with filtration
• A rotary wash water filter (which comes standard in the MWF-2)
• Multistage protection
• A steam function (optional)
• A touchscreen panel to let operators control the wash process for each cycle

MWF-1, MWF-1-300, and MWF-2 machines all feature compact construction with safety guards and photocell-based safety sensors to keep plant personnel safe during machine operation. By integrating a rotating arm studded with washing nozzles, these machines can thoroughly wash up to 60 buggies (MWF-1) or 90 buggies (MWF-2) per hour — including buggy bottoms and wheels.

Nowicki MPD-1 box pallet washers grip and then flip box pallets for washing — an innovative mode of operation that ensures that all the box’s walls (inside and out) are thoroughly cleaned. Flipping a box pallet on its side allows for evener application of cleaning agent and subsequent rinsing. It also allows residual cleaning water to be dumped out before the box is turned right side up and the guarded machine work zone is reopened. Nowicki MPD-1 box pallet washers are designed to wash 30 reusable box pallets (measuring up to 47 x 39 x 31.5 inches) per hour.
